Our capacity is currently limited by the size of our facilities. Our goal for 2025 is to raise $700,000 to expand our campus in order to serve more students. With these funds, we will build additional communal facilities (including a well, a septic system, electricity, roadworks, plus a communal kitchen and dining hall), and purchase seven beautiful shepherd’s huts for the students to live in.

Here is what your donation will make happen:

  • $50,000 is the cost of a Shepherd's hut. We are looking to get seven of these for our students and faculty to live in.

  • $75,000 is the cost of building a water well, a septic tank, and of bringing electric to the land where we will place the shepherd's huts.

  • $3,000 allows us to install a fireplace and air conditioning unit in each shepherd's hut, so we can have year-around programs.

  • $10,000 allows us to outfit a cozy interior inside the shepherd's huts with everything our students need: bed, kitchenette, WC, desk and chair.

  • $275,000 allows us to build an indoor, communal dining space and kitchen in our new piece of land.

  • $17,000 is the cost of the shepherd's huts' fully insulated timber frame, oak windows, and a 30-year-guaranteed traditional "tin” cladding.

  • $25,000 is the cost of half a shepherd's hut. We are looking to get seven of these for our students and faculty to live in.

For our inaugural year, we received 158 applications for 15 slots available. We need to support more students. But we can’t do it alone.

*Donations of $17,000 and over will be gifted a weekend stay in a hut during the Center’s off-season. 

**Donations of $25,000 and over will be gifted a weekend stay in a hut, and they can be commemorated with an engraved sign with your name or quote of your choice (maximum two signs per hut.)
